ANIMAL HUSBANDARY
Majors who study the science and technology of animal husbandry development, livestock industry, and environmentally friendly agribusiness activities, are able to work independently in science, research and application and can continue to higher education levels.
History
The Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS) Animal Husbandry Study Program is the answer to the needs of the community and Sumbawa. Sumbawa is one of the livestock areas in Indonesia, which is supported by a large area of land and a very strong community livestock culture, making Sumbawa a promising livestock area. The Animal Husbandry Study Program was established in the Decree of the Directorate of Higher Education 143260 A5/HK/2020 dated December 30, 2020. The existence of superior livestock such as the Sumbawa Horse, Buffalo and Sumbawa Cattle is a local characteristic that needs to be maintained and developed. The UTS Animal Husbandry Study Program is here to develop Sumbawa’s potential.
Description
Sumbawa is one of the livestock areas in Indonesia which is supported by the vast land area and culture of the livestock community that is so thick. The UTS Animal Husbandry Study Program is here to produce competent human resources who have an entrepreneurial spirit who are ready to develop Indonesian livestock, especially Sumbawa. This achievement is also supported by a curriculum that directs students to be able to be independent.
Becoming a Comfortable and Fun Learning House To Grow Whole As Prospective Scientists, Technologists And Entrepreneurs In The Animal Husbandry Field That Benefit The Universe
The vision is described as follows:
