Sumbawa (UTS), 2023 -The Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology (FITH) of the Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS), Maya Fitriana, S.Sc., Ph.D on Tuesday (4/4) held a meeting with all student organizations (Ormawa) within the FITH environment which is located at FITH Dean Building Corridor (2013 BRI Building), UTS Campus, Jl. Raya Olat Maras, Batu Alang, Kec. Moyo Hulu, Kab. Sumbawa. The meeting was part of the Dean’s Gathering and Coordination with Ormawa in the FITH environment, starting the start of the Ormawa activity program in 2023. In addition to seven (7) representatives of FITH Ormawa, FITH Student Executive Board (BEM), Student Association (Hima) Biotechnology Study Program (Himabiotek), Animal Husbandry Study Program (Himaster), Fisheries Science Study Program (Himapika), and Resource Conservation Study Program Alam (KSDA) (Himakovi), the Student Representative Council (DPM) and Ecosphere, along with division heads and supervisory lecturers, were also present at the meeting, FITH structural members such as deputy deans and study program heads.
Aside from being a gathering event, the Dean of FITH in his presentation explained that this meeting was also to build better communication and coordination between the parties. On that occasion he also gave directions and messages in organizing so that they can organize properly and correctly, maintain manners and manners, including delivering interruptions or protests, following the directions of leaders and coaches and applicable rules, and not forgetting to carry out proper coordination. both with the supervisor and the top leadership.
On that occasion, the Dean of FITH reminded again that all FITH academics are promotion agents for FITH in particular and UTS in general. Moreover, Ormawa does not only focus on academic activities, but also has additional activities in the organization, makes many programs related to various parties, both internal and external to FITH and UTS, so the identity of a good and accomplished FITH UTS student really needs to be instilled. to be able to maintain the good name of oneself and the institution under shelter. Because of that, the Dean of FITH left a message for Ormawa so that in each carrying out its program of activities, at the same time it can help promote and socialize FITH and the study programs in it to the wider community.
