Passed the 2016 IEAFCP Program, Two Technobiology Faculty Students Will Tour China, Hong Kong and Macau

University of Technology Sumbawa (UTS) students have again succeeded in flapping their wings in the international arena. Two students of the UTS Faculty of Technobiology on behalf of Dani Wijaya and Siti Amaniati Sakinah will participate in the Indonesia East Asia Friendship and Cultural Exchange Program (IEAFCP 2016) organized by the Inspiring Young Community under the auspices of the Academic Directorate of Gadjah Mada University (UGM). The two UTS students are entitled to participate in the 2016 IEAFCP agenda after successfully passing the selection stage in the form of paper selection and interviews via skype. This Youth Community which focuses on the development of Education, Health and the Environment, in 2016 will send the best students from Indonesia to take part in the 2016 IEAFCP program with the theme “Preparing Indonesian Youth Leaders to Revive The Spirit of Asia”. The event will be held on January 11-17, 2016 in 3 Asian countries namely, Macau, China and Hong Kong. The students of the UTS have again succeeded in flapping their wings in the international arena. The IEAFCP 2016 activity will be attended by 40 students consisting of students from campuses in the country, the Indonesian-Hong Kong Student Association (PPI-HK) and the Indonesian-Chinese Student Association (PPI-China). This activity is expected to be a stimulus for participants to learn about social life (culture) and community activities in 3 Asian countries that have the best economic power today (Hong Kong, China, and Macau). The series of IEAFCP 2016 activities consisted of visits to institutions, well-known companies, and universities. In addition to making various visits, the participants will also display artistic creations and a parade of Indonesian culture. Later, participants will also be gathered in a Focus Group Discussion that will discuss Branding News in the world, the preparation of the 2016 IEAFCP declaration, and the Youth Dare to Inspire Social Media Campaign. It is hoped that this activity can have a positive impact on the wider community.
