Sumbawa (UTS) – Faculty of Life Sciences and Technology (FITH) University of Technology Sumbawa (UTS) some time ago, Friday 14 April 2023 to be precise, held a Jurisium for the Odd Semester Undergraduate Program for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The yudisium activity which took place in the Raberas Resto Hall marked the graduation of 14 Biotechnology Study Program students. Through this ongoing agenda, Rimba Trishuta Pathiussina S.Biotek was also given the award for the Best Odd Semester Graduate for Academic Year 2022/2023.
In his remarks, the UTS Chancellor, represented by Vice Chancellor I for Academic, HR and Student Affairs, Mr. Win Ariga Mansur Malonga, S.Pi., M.Sc., advised the graduation participants to consistently do good as the key to success in life. The goodness referred to is Duha prayer, night prayer, reading the Koran, and fasting Monday-Thursday. “Don’t forget to constantly ask your parents for prayers, because parents’ prayers are effective,” said Mr. Win.
The Dean of FITH, Maya Fitriana, S.Sc., Ph.D., did not forget to congratulate the graduation participants and advised them to continue learning, “This is not the end, but a real start for you to enter society and face the world of work. , then every further step that you will choose will be an arena for learning and growing for you to become more mature human beings,” he said. Also attending the event were several FITH leaders such as the Vice Dean of FITH, Head of the Biotechnology Study Program, Head of the FITH Laboratory who is also the Chair of the activity committee, as well as FITH lecturers and staff.
Rimba, one of the best yudisium participants, admitted that he did not expect when he received the notification of the best student, because he felt there were still many who were better. With feelings of happiness, Rimba hopes that all the yudisium participants will receive convenience and success in this world and the hereafter.
The activity ended with the awarding of souvenirs in the form of certificates to the best graduate students. And closed with Iftar Together at the Raberas Resto Hall.
